Urban Zebra Rebels Sage Glossy Porcelain Subway Tile 2" x 6"

Urban Zebra Rebels Sage is a glossy porcelain subway tile in 2" x 6", part of the Urban Zebra Rebels range. The colour is Sage. It has a brick, plain and subway look.

It is 8.5 mm thick and made in Spain. The edges are non-rectified. The spec sheet lists slip resistance R10, water absorption 0.5% or less and shade variation V3. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Each box holds 75 pieces and covers 6 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 5 boxes, or 6 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares.

The spec sheet lists it as frost resistant, but an outdoor floor also needs the right slip rating and base, so ask us before planning it outside. On a floor, keep the glossy face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. It is pressed, not rectified, so plan on a slightly wider grout joint.

Our own crews install it. See Urban Zebra Rebels Sage at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
