Urban Zebra Onyx Greige Polished Porcelain Hexagon Mosaic 4" x 4"

Urban Zebra Onyx Greige Hexagon Mosaic is a polished porcelain mosaic in 4" x 4", part of the Urban Zebra Onyx range. The colour is Greige Hexagon Mosaic. It has a marble look. The shape is hexagon.

It is 9 mm thick and made in Italy. The edges are rectified. The spec sheet lists slip resistance R9, water absorption 0.5% or less and shade variation V3. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Each sheet covers 0.55 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 73 sheets, or 80 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, so you order exactly the count you need.

The spec sheet lists it as frost resistant, but an outdoor floor also needs the right slip rating and base, so ask us before planning it outside. On a floor, keep the polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. At R9 it is not the tile for a shower floor or a wet commercial area.

Our own crews install it. See Urban Zebra Onyx Greige Hexagon Mosaic at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
