Urban Zebra Malta Cotto Matte Porcelain Star Tile 6" x 6"

Urban Zebra Malta Star Cotto is a matte porcelain tile in 6" x 6", part of the Urban Zebra Malta range. The colour is Star Cotto. It has a patterned and stone look. The shape is star.

It is 10 mm thick and made in Spain. The edges are non-rectified. The spec sheet lists slip resistance R10, water absorption 0.5% or less and shade variation V3. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Each box holds 16 pieces and covers 4.24 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 8 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares.

The spec sheet lists it as frost resistant, but an outdoor floor also needs the right slip rating and base, so ask us before planning it outside. It is pressed, not rectified, so plan on a slightly wider grout joint.

Our own crews install it. See Urban Zebra Malta Star Cotto at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
