Urban Zebra Corten B Black Semi-Polished Porcelain Mosaic 1" x 3"

Urban Zebra Corten B Black is a semi-polished porcelain mosaic in 1" x 3", part of the Urban Zebra Corten range. The colour is B Black. It has a metal look.

It is 11 mm thick and made in Spain. The edges are rectified. The spec sheet lists slip resistance over 0.42, water absorption 0.5% or less and shade variation V4. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Each sheet covers 1 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 40 sheets, or 44 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, so you order exactly the count you need.

The spec sheet lists it as frost resistant, but an outdoor floor also needs the right slip rating and base, so ask us before planning it outside. On a floor, keep the semi-polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. At V4 the shade moves a lot from piece to piece, so we blend from several boxes as we lay it.

Our own crews install it. See Urban Zebra Corten B Black at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
