Why Carrara Mare Stands Out

Showrooms are full of tile that looks alike from a metre away; the differences show up in the firing and the finish.

In simple terms: Urban Zebra Carrara Mare is a porcelain tile collection from Urban Zebra for floors and walls. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it at both stores and installs it with our own crews.

The range runs in 12" x 24", 2" x 2", 24" x 24" and 24" x 48" formats across rectangle and square shapes with matte and polished finishes. Colourways include White. The look is marble.

Decision line: Carrara Mare suits kitchens, bathrooms, entries and busy floors as well as walls. Polished faces read bright but run slick when wet, so keep them off shower floors and entries.

Tile is quoted as a whole job here, preparation, waterproofing where needed, grout and labour by our own employed crews, never subcontractors. See how we work on the tile installation page, then come compare Carrara Mare in person at our Mississauga or Barrie store; a full piece under room light reads differently than any photo.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Urban Zebra Carrara Mare?
Urban Zebra Carrara Mare is porcelain with a marble look, made in China, in matte and polished finishes, as large-format tile, standard floor tile and mosaics. It suits kitchens, bathrooms, living areas and walls. You can see it at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4) and our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4).
Where can Carrara Mare be used?
Porcelain is fired dense, so floors, walls and wet areas are all in play, including showers and entries. Match the finish to the room: polished surfaces are slick when wet, matte and textured finishes grip better.
Do you install Carrara Mare?
Yes, with our own employed installation crews rather than subcontractors, for residential and commercial projects. Tile work is quoted with preparation, waterproofing where needed, and grout included, so the number you get is the whole job.
Where can I see Carrara Mare near me?
You can see it at both Squarefoot Flooring stores, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. A full sample under room light reads very differently from a photo, so come compare it in person before deciding.
