Urban Zebra Biotech Soap Stone Matte Porcelain Tile 24" x 48"

Urban Zebra Biotech Soap Stone is a matte porcelain tile in 24" x 48", part of the Urban Zebra Biotech range. The colour is Soap Stone. It has a stone look.

It is 9 mm thick and made in Italy. The edges are rectified. The spec sheet lists water absorption 0.5% or less. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Each box holds 2 pieces and covers 15.75 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares.

The spec sheet lists it as frost resistant, but an outdoor floor also needs the right slip rating and base, so ask us before planning it outside.

Our own crews install it. See Urban Zebra Biotech Soap Stone at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
