Urban Zebra Althea Moon Matte Porcelain Mosaic 2" x 2"

Urban Zebra Althea Moon is a matte porcelain mosaic in 2" x 2", part of the Urban Zebra Althea range. The colour is Moon. It has a stone look.

It is 9 mm thick and made in Spain. The edges are rectified. The spec sheet lists slip resistance R9, water absorption 0.5% or less and shade variation V3. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Each box holds 11 pieces and covers 11 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 4 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares.

The spec sheet lists it as frost resistant, but an outdoor floor also needs the right slip rating and base, so ask us before planning it outside. At R9 it is not the tile for a shower floor or a wet commercial area.
