The Stone a la Mod Urban Bluestone in 1/2" x 6" puts you in subway territory, the size most kitchens default to, mostly because it works and the cuts are easy. A polished face looks deeper and brighter than a matte one. It also shows footprints and gets slippery wet, so place it accordingly. Fired denser and harder than ceramic, porcelain takes traffic without showing it. Both our Mississauga and Barrie stores have it out, and we can get you a loose piece to take home.
