This rug uses a polypropylene-polyester blend, which is the reason it both shrugs off spills and feels soft: polypropylene handles the wear and stains, polyester adds the plush touch. A medium 9mm pile balances softness and practicality, comfortable underfoot while still easy to vacuum and keep clean.
