Toucan Flooring SPC5 Vinyl Plank Flooring
Vinyl has quietly become the floor of choice for kitchens, basements, and busy households, and for one simple reason: water does not bother it.
In simple terms: Toucan Flooring SPC5 is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. It is SPC, Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.
The build and the spec: SPC stands for stone polymer composite, and that core is the point: it is hard, rigid, and stable, so the plank stays flat over uneven subfloors and ignores the temperature swings that move cheaper vinyl. It clicks together as a floating floor. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. Colours in the range include TFSPC501-F, TFSPC507-F, TFSPC504-F, TFSPC510-F, and TFSPC503-F.
We install Toucan Flooring SPC5 with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It floats over most existing hard floors once the base is flat and dry. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.
Decision line: reach for SPC5 where stability and waterproofing lead the list: basements, kitchens, condos, and over concrete.
Vinyl reads differently across a full floor than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing SPC5 in person at either store. Contact us to check current stock, or browse the full vinyl plank range. Our is flooring waterproof guide explains what waterproof actually covers. You can browse the complete Toucan Flooring lineup on our Toucan Flooring page.
