Richmond Tile Plata Carrara Abisso 2" Hexagon Mosaic Polished

Plata Carrara Abisso 2 Polished, 2" x 2", is small enough to follow a shape rather than fight it, which is why sheets like this end up in niches and behind taps. Polished gives you the reflective surface, and the trade is grip: wet polished tile is slippery, so keep it off a wet floor and enjoy it on a wall or a dry room. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
