Richmond Tile Castello Larice 6"x36", Pressed Matte

Castello Larice, Pressed Matte, 6" x 36", is large enough that the subfloor has to be flat first, because a tile this size telegraphs every dip underneath. The look is worth the prep. The matte face keeps some grip when it is wet and does not show every water mark, which is why it is the usual pick for a bathroom floor. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
