The Castello Quercia, Pressed Matte in 6" x 36" is large format, so you get far fewer grout lines and a floor that reads as one surface rather than a grid. Matte is the safer finish underfoot once water gets on it, and it hides the day to day better than a polish does. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries.
