Richmond Tile Area 51 Clay 2"x2" Mosaic

Pieces this small are what make a shower floor work, and Area 51 Clay, 2" x 2", is no exception: the mesh follows the fall to the drain instead of fighting it. Because it is porcelain the body is dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
