COREtec Floors Pro Plus Enhanced VV492 Vinyl Plank Flooring

In simple terms: COREtec Floors Pro Plus Enhanced VV492 is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.

The build and the spec: This is an SPC floor, stone polymer composite, which means a dense rigid core that stays dead flat and dimensionally stable. It will not expand, contract, or telegraph small subfloor flaws the way flexible vinyl can, and it floats into place over most existing surfaces. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It comes with an attached acoustic pad, which softens sound between floors and means one less layer to buy and lay. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Painted micro-bevelled edges frame each plank and hide the seams. It is also GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by an USF Lifetime Resilient (defects, wear, waterproof, petproof residential and USF 15-year Heavy commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Aldergrove Oak, Edinburgh Oak, Lucent Oak, Lyric Oak, and Nicola Oak.
