Porcea Stone Gris Outdoor Porcelain Pavers in Mississauga and Barrie

Choosing a paver for a pool deck, patio or driveway in Toronto, Mississauga or Barrie starts with the look and ends with the thickness. Porcea Stone Gris has a dark granite look with natural white striations and a heavily textured surface.

Outdoor porcelain is fired dense: rated R11 for slip with a DCOF of 0.42 or higher, water absorption of 0.5% or less and frost resistance, so it handles freeze-thaw winters, salt and pool water without sealing.

In simple terms: pick the look, then pick the thickness for the job, 2 cm for foot traffic and 3 cm where cars go.

What is in Porcea Stone Gris:

• 2 cm paver: 24" x 24" (made to order), 18" x 36" (stocked), 24" x 48" (made to order), 48" x 48" (made to order) and 48" x 96" (made to order)
• 3 cm paver: 16" x 32" (made to order) and 24" x 24" (made to order)
• 1 cm R11 tile: 12" x 24" (made to order)
• 1 cm R10 tile: 12" x 24" (made to order) and 24" x 48" (made to order)

The 2 cm paver is for outdoor floors: patios, walkways, pool decks and roof terraces on pedestals; for a driveway it goes on a concrete base. The 3 cm paver is rated for vehicles on a gravel base and adds weight against wind uplift on roof terraces. The 1 cm tile is the thin floor version, for patios and walkways that need no vehicle rating.

Choose Porcea Stone Gris if the look suits your house and the sizes fit the space. Skip the 2 cm paver for a driveway on a gravel base; that job needs the 3 cm paver or a concrete base.
