The Mythology Olympus in 2" x 5" puts you in subway territory, the size most kitchens default to, mostly because it works and the cuts are easy. Glossy is a wall finish by temperament: bright, easy to wipe, and too slick to want underfoot in a wet room. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic.
