Olympia Tile Venere Flora Taupe Matte Porcelain Slab 48" x 48"

Fewer grout lines is the reason people choose a slab. At 48" x 48", each piece of Venere Flora Taupe covers about 16 sq ft, so a shower wall, a fireplace face or a floor goes up with very few joints to clean.

In simple terms: Venere Flora Taupe is a 48x48 stone look porcelain slab for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Flora Taupe from the Olympia Tile Venere range. It has a stone and patterned look. The actual size is 47.24" x 47.24", or 120 x 120 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits feature walls, shower walls, fireplace surrounds and large open floors. Pick it over standard tile when you want the wall or floor to read as one surface.

Each box holds 2 pieces and covers 31.01 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor takes 4 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 4 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. A slab this size needs a flat substrate and a crew used to handling it; ours are.

In this size, Venere also comes in Cappucino Beige, Sabbia Cream and Talco White. Flora Taupe also comes in 24" x 48".
