Olympia Tile Motif Yellow Matte Porcelain Slab 48" x 48"

Fewer grout lines is the reason people choose a slab. At 48" x 48", each piece of Motif Yellow covers about 16 sq ft, so a large wall or floor goes up with very few joints to clean.

In simple terms: Motif Yellow is a 48x48 porcelain slab. Floor or wall use is not listed for it yet, so check with us before you plan it.

It is the matte finish in Yellow from the Olympia Tile Motif range. The actual size is 47.24" x 47.24", or 120 x 120 cm.

It is 10.5 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Pick it over standard tile when you want the wall or floor to read as one surface.

Each slab covers 15.5 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft area takes 7 slabs, or 8 slabs with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the slab, so you order exactly the count you need. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 slabs with the 10% extra included.

A slab this size needs a flat substrate and a crew used to handling it; ours are.
