Olympia Tile Marmorea Port Laurent Matte Porcelain Tile 12" x 24"

In simple terms: Marmorea Port Laurent is a 12x24 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Port Laurent from the Olympia Tile Marmorea range. The actual size is 11.81" x 23.62", or 30 x 60 cm.

It is 10 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for medium to high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 6 pieces and covers 11.63 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 13 boxes, or 15 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 10 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls.

In this size, Marmorea also comes in Amani Grey, Bianco Calacatta, Bianco Statuario, Grigio Imperiale and Oxford Greige Grey. Port Laurent also comes in 30" x 30".
