Olympia Tile Arkistone Dark Grey Matte Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, and a room reads bigger with them. Arkistone Dark Grey gives you that in 24" x 24".

In simple terms: Arkistone Dark Grey is a 24x24 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Dark Grey from the Olympia Tile Arkistone range. The actual size is 23.62" x 23.62", or 60 x 60 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 4 pieces and covers 15.38 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls.

In this size, Arkistone also comes in Greige Taupe, Ivory, Light Grey and Silver. Dark Grey also comes in 12" x 24", 24" x 48" and 48" x 48".
