Olympia Tile Spectra Sahara White Unglazed Porcelain Cove Base 4" x 8"

A tile job is judged at its edges. Where a cut tile would show its raw body at a corner, a step or a doorway, Spectra Sahara White Cove Base finishes the line in the same colour as the Spectra tile.

In simple terms: Spectra Sahara White Cove Base is a 4x8 porcelain cove base trim for finishing edges, corners and transitions on floors and walls.

It is the unglazed finish in Sahara White from the Olympia Tile Spectra range.

It is 8 mm thick. It is rated for medium commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Use it for the joint where the floor meets the wall, as a tile baseboard, in the same colour as the Spectra field tile. Pick it over a metal edge profile when you want the edge to match the tile instead of framing it.

Trim is counted by length, not area. Each piece is 8" long, so a 10 ft run of edge takes 15 pieces, plus a spare or two for cuts. It is sold by the piece.

It is a trim piece for floors and walls, not a field tile, so do not plan it to cover an open floor or wall area.

It matches the Spectra Sahara White field tile in 12" x 12" and 8" x 8".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Spectra Sahara White Cove Base in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
