Olympia Tile Spectra Nordic Medium Grey Unglazed Porcelain Tile 8" x 8"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Spectra Nordic Medium Grey is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Spectra Nordic Medium Grey is an 8x8 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the unglazed finish in Nordic Medium Grey from the Olympia Tile Spectra range. The actual size is 7.8" x 7.8", or 19.8 x 19.8 cm.

It is 8 mm thick. It carries a High Plus commercial traffic rating, the top commercial rating listed. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 32 pieces and covers 13.78 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 3 boxes, or 4 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Spectra also comes in Antracite Charcoal, Nordic SR, Rio Negro Black and Sahara White. Nordic Medium Grey also comes in 12" x 12". Matching cove base trim is listed in the same colour.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Spectra Nordic Medium Grey in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
