Olympia Tile Ontario Bone Matte Porcelain Cove Base 2" x 2"

A tile job is judged at its edges. Where a cut tile would show its raw body at a corner, a step or a doorway, Ontario Bone Cove Base finishes the line in the same colour as the Ontario tile.

In simple terms: Ontario Bone Cove Base is a 2x2 porcelain cove base trim for finishing edges, corners and transitions on floors and walls.

It is the matte finish in Bone from the Olympia Tile Ontario range.

It is 6 mm thick. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

Use it for the joint where the floor meets the wall, as a tile baseboard, in the same colour as the Ontario field tile. Pick it over a metal edge profile when you want the edge to match the tile instead of framing it.

It is sold by the linear foot, and 2" x 2" is the size of the profile. One unit is one linear foot of trim, so a 10 ft run of edge takes 10, plus a spare or two for cuts.

It is a trim piece for floors and walls, not a field tile, so do not plan it to cover an open floor or wall area.
