Olympia Tile Nirvana Nero Matte Porcelain Tile 8" x 48"

Hardwood does not belong in a wet bathroom or a damp basement. Nirvana Nero gives you a wood look on porcelain that can go there.

In simple terms: Nirvana Nero is an 8x48 wood look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Nero from the Olympia Tile Nirvana range. The actual size is 7.87" x 47.24", or 20 x 120 cm.

It is 10 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for medium to high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits basements, kitchens and bathrooms where hardwood would not stand up to water, open-plan floors, living areas, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over hardwood or laminate anywhere the floor can get wet.

Each box holds 6 pieces and covers 15.5 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Nirvana also comes in Beige, Grey and White.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Nirvana Nero in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
