Olympia Tile New Albion Blue Glossy Ceramic Tile 13" x 13"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. New Albion Blue is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: New Albion Blue is a 13x13 ceramic tile for dry floors and walls, indoors.

It is the glossy finish in Blue from the Olympia Tile New Albion range. The actual size is 12.99" x 12.99", or 33 x 33 cm.

It is 8 mm thick. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Ceramic has a lighter, softer body than porcelain, which makes it easy to cut and set. This one is listed for floors as well as walls.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, hallways away from the entry door, kitchen backsplashes, shower and bathroom walls and feature walls. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 9 pieces and covers 10.55 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft living room floor takes 15 boxes, or 16 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. On a floor, keep the glossy face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, New Albion also comes in Grey and Taupe.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile New Albion Blue in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
