Olympia Tile Mira Stone Carbon Matte Porcelain Tile 12" x 12"

Natural stone needs sealing and every batch looks different. Mira Stone Carbon gives you a stone look on porcelain.

In simple terms: Mira Stone Carbon is a 12x12 stone look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Carbon from the Olympia Tile Mira Stone range. The actual size is 11.81" x 11.81", or 30 x 30 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It carries a High Plus commercial traffic rating, the top commercial rating listed. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over real stone when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 10 pieces and covers 9.69 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 5 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 12 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Mira Stone also comes in Deep Grey, Light Taupe, Morning and Silver Grey. Carbon also comes in 12" x 24".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Mira Stone Carbon in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
