Olympia Tile Metropolis White Glossy Ceramic Round Edge Short Side 4" x 16"

A tile job is judged at its edges. Where a cut tile would show its raw body at a corner, a step or a doorway, Metropolis White Round Edge Short Side finishes the line in the same colour as the Metropolis tile.

In simple terms: Metropolis White Round Edge Short Side is a 4x16 ceramic round edge short side trim for finishing edges, corners and transitions on walls.

It is the glossy finish in White from the Olympia Tile Metropolis range.

It is 7.8 mm thick. Ceramic has a lighter, softer body than porcelain, which makes it easy to cut and set, and it is mostly used on walls.

Use it for exposed edges on backsplashes, shower niches, tub decks and window returns, in the same colour as the Metropolis field tile. Pick it over a metal edge profile when you want the edge to match the tile instead of framing it.

Trim is counted by length, not area. Each piece is 16" long, so a 10 ft run of edge takes 8 pieces, plus a spare or two for cuts. It is sold by the piece.

It is a trim piece for walls, not a field tile, so do not plan it to cover an open floor or wall area.

It matches the Metropolis White field tile in 2" x 8", 12" x 24", 3" x 12" and 3" x 6".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Metropolis White Round Edge Short Side in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
