Olympia Tile I Ciottoli Argilla Light Grey Semi-Polished Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Natural stone needs sealing and every batch looks different. I Ciottoli Argilla Light Grey gives you a stone look on porcelain.

In simple terms: I Ciottoli Argilla Light Grey is a 24x24 stone look porcelain tile for dry floors and walls, indoors.

It is the semi-polished finish in Argilla Light Grey from the Olympia Tile I Ciottoli range. The actual size is 23.78" x 23.78", or 60.4 x 60.4 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, hallways away from the entry door, kitchen backsplashes, shower and bathroom walls, feature walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over real stone when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 4 pieces and covers 15.72 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft living room floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 7 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. On a floor, keep the semi-polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet.

In this size, I Ciottoli also comes in Antracite, Avorio, Beige and Grigio. Argilla Light Grey also comes in 24" x 48".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile I Ciottoli Argilla Light Grey in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
