Olympia Tile Genesis Taupe Matte Porcelain Tile 12" x 24"

Poured concrete floors crack and stain. Genesis Taupe gives you the concrete look on porcelain, without the upkeep.

In simple terms: Genesis Taupe is a 12x24 concrete look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Taupe from the Olympia Tile Genesis range. The actual size is 11.81" x 23.62", or 30 x 60 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. It is rated for medium commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls and covered porches and patios. Pick it over real concrete when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 6 pieces and covers 11.63 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 13 boxes, or 15 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 10 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Genesis also comes in Grey, Light Grey and White. Taupe also comes in 8" x 20" and 10" x 16".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Genesis Taupe in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
