Olympia Tile Gemme Grey Matte Porcelain Tile 6" x 24"

A backsplash or a shower wall is looked at up close every day, so the colour, the sheen and the grout line count for more than they do on a floor. Gemme Grey is made for that wall.

In simple terms: Gemme Grey is a 6x24 marble look porcelain tile for walls only, such as backsplashes and shower walls.

It is the matte finish in Grey from the Olympia Tile Gemme range. The actual size is 5.91" x 24.02", or 15 x 61 cm.

It is 11 mm thick. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom and shower walls and tub surrounds. Pick it for walls only; for a floor, choose a tile that is listed for floors.

Each box holds 11 pieces and covers 10.98 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 3 boxes, or 4 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for walls only, so do not put it on a floor, including a shower floor. No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it on indoor walls.

In this size, Gemme also comes in Dark Black and White.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Gemme Grey in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
