Olympia Tile Formaviva Inchiostro Charcoal Matte Porcelain Wove Tile 5" x 10"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Formaviva Inchiostro Charcoal Wove is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Formaviva Inchiostro Charcoal Wove is a 5x10 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Inchiostro Charcoal from the Olympia Tile Formaviva range. The actual size is 4.92" x 9.84", or 12.5 x 25 cm.

It is 9.5 mm thick. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements and shower and bathroom walls. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 16 pieces and covers 5.38 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 8 boxes, or 9 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 21 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Formaviva also comes in Argila Beige, Pergamena Bone, Salvia Aqua, Tufo Taupe and Vintage Blue.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Formaviva Inchiostro Charcoal Wove in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
