Olympia Tile Eterna Medium Grey Polished Porcelain Medgry Tile 12" x 24"

Real marble etches, stains and needs sealing. Eterna Medium Grey Medgry gives you the marble look on porcelain that does not.

In simple terms: Eterna Medium Grey Medgry is a 12x24 marble look porcelain tile for dry floors and walls, indoors.

It is the polished finish in Medium Grey from the Olympia Tile Eterna range. The actual size is 11.69" x 23.62", or 29.7 x 60 cm.

It is 8.8 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, hallways away from the entry door, kitchen backsplashes, shower and bathroom walls and feature walls. Pick it over real marble when you want the veining without sealing or etching.

Each box holds 8 pieces and covers 15.5 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft living room floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. On a floor, keep the polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. Its commercial rating is light traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Eterna also comes in Ash, Bone, Calacatta Grey, Calacatta Taupe and Carrara Gioia. Medium Grey also comes in 24" x 24", 24" x 48", 36" x 36", 1" x 3" and 2" x 2".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Eterna Medium Grey Medgry in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
