Olympia Tile Dust Calce Matte Porcelain Tile 12" x 24"

Large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, and a room reads bigger with them. Dust Calce gives you that in 12" x 24".

In simple terms: Dust Calce is a 12x24 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Calce from the Olympia Tile Dust range. The actual size is 11.81" x 23.62", or 30 x 60 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 7 pieces and covers 13.56 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 12 boxes, or 13 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 9 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Dust also comes in Caolino Cream, Carbone, Fossil and Mica. Calce also comes in 24" x 48".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Dust Calce in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
