Olympia Tile Cotto Milano Mattone Dark Terracotta Matte Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, and a room reads bigger with them. Cotto Milano Mattone Dark Terracotta gives you that in 24" x 24".

In simple terms: Cotto Milano Mattone Dark Terracotta is a 24x24 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Mattone Dark Terracotta from the Olympia Tile Cotto Milano range. The actual size is 23.62" x 23.62", or 60 x 60 cm.

It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 3 pieces and covers 11.62 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 13 boxes, or 15 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 10 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls.

In this size, Cotto Milano also comes in Argila Taupe, Creta Bone, Sabbia Sand, Talco White and Terracotta. Mattone Dark Terracotta also comes in 8" x 8" and 24" x 48".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Cotto Milano Mattone Dark Terracotta in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
