Olympia Tile Calacatta Vintage White Honed Porcelain Tile 3" x 12"

Real marble etches, stains and needs sealing. Calacatta Vintage White gives you the marble look on porcelain that does not.

In simple terms: Calacatta Vintage White is a 3x12 marble look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the honed finish in White from the Olympia Tile Calacatta Vintage range. The actual size is 2.95" x 11.81", or 7.5 x 30 cm.

It is 10 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for medium to high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls and busy commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over real marble when you want the veining without sealing or etching.

Each box holds 26 pieces and covers 6.29 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 7 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 18 boxes with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls.

White also comes in 12" x 24", 24" x 24" and 24" x 48".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Calacatta Vintage White in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
