Fuzion Flooring Oceana Water-Resistant Laminate
In a busy kitchen or entry, the question is not whether water hits the floor but whether the floor can take it.
In simple terms: Fuzion Flooring Oceana is an 8mm AC5 rated water-resistant laminate, a floor built to take water in the rooms where that matters. Squarefoot Flooring carries it, and our own crew installs it.
Here is what you are actually buying. Oceana runs an 8mm board, the standard residential thickness, stable underfoot and compatible with most existing subfloors. It carries an AC5 wear rating, the level specified for light commercial use, so it shrugs off heavy household traffic, rentals, and high-use entries. The surface is an embossed wood grain for a natural look and a little underfoot grip. It installs with a click-lock system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It is rated for 120 hours of surface water protection, which in practice means a spill, a melting ice cube, or a wet boot will not swell the seams as long as it is wiped up in good time. It is backed by a lifetime residential and 10-year light wear commercial warranty.
That construction is what lets Oceana go where ordinary laminate cannot: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries, and anywhere a spill or wet boot is part of daily life. The range includes tones such as Smoke, and Thule.
Decision line: choose Oceana for any room that meets water, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; for dry bedrooms and living rooms, a standard laminate will also do the job for less.
Installation is in-house across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, with no subcontractors. A floating floor needs a flat, dry base, so subfloor prep and underlayment are where we spend the time. See the laminate installation page.
Worth seeing in person, since grain and sheen read differently across a floor. Oceana is at our Mississauga and Barrie stores; contact us to check stock, or compare on the vinyl vs laminate guide.
