Mapei Ultracolor Plus Fa Grout 10 lb Frost 77

Ultracolor Plus Fa Grout in Frost is a rapid-setting polymer-modified cement grout with a fine aggregate. On paper that is ANSI A118.6 and A118.7, ISO 13007 CG2WAF. It suits joints from 1/16" up to 3/4", which is why Mapei sell it as one grout in place of a separate sanded and unsanded pair. Work on about 156 sq ft from a 10 lb bag over 12" x 12" tile with a 1/8" joint. Pot life is 30 minutes to an hour, and it can be remixed without adding more water. Light foot traffic at 3 hours. Keep it dry for 3 days before any rain, freezing or immersion. Sealing is not normally needed. Porous or rough tile is the exception, and that gets sealed before grouting rather than after. Reach for an epoxy instead where the floor needs real chemical, impact or stain resistance, or in heavy industrial use. Never fill an expansion or control joint with it. It is efflorescence-free and stain resistant, and it holds colour consistently. Test it on glass, glazed tile, marble and granite first, because pigmented grout can mark them. On the shelf in Mississauga and Barrie if you are picking up tile anyway.
