Mapei Keracolor S Grout with Polymer 10 lb 09 Grey

Keracolor S Grout with Polymer in Grey is a sanded polymer-modified cement grout. On paper that is ANSI A118.6. Sanded, for joints from 1/8" to 5/8". Narrower than 1/8" wants Keracolor U or Ultracolor Plus FA instead. Mapei publish coverage for the 25 lb bag only, so there is no manufacturer figure for this pack. Work it out from the 25 lb table rather than from a guess. Pot life is about an hour, shorter than the unsanded version. Keep heavy traffic off for at least 72 hours. A residential shower or tub surround stays dry for 24 to 48 hours, a steam shower for 14 days, and anything submerged for the full 21-day cure. No sealer is required. Porous or high-absorption tile is worth sealing before grouting. Not over asbestos-containing substrates, and not in joints narrower than 1/8". It carries BioBlock against mould and mildew. Sanded pigmented grout can permanently mark glazed tile, marble and granite, so test it on an offcut first. Efflorescence is normal for a Portland cement grout.
