For a dining room, the rug needs to clear the table by roughly two feet all around so pulled-out chairs do not catch the edge. It blends polypropylene with polyester, pairing the toughness and stain resistance of polypropylene with the soft hand and lustre of polyester, a forgiving combination for family rooms. A medium 9mm pile balances softness and practicality, comfortable underfoot while still easy to vacuum and keep clean. A moderate weave density keeps it comfortable and practical for everyday rooms.
