Anatolia Tile Ivory Travertine 2 x 4 Brick Mosaic Filled & Honed Natural Stone

The Ivory Travertine Brick Filled & Honed in 2" x 4" is small enough to follow a slope, which is why sheets like this keep turning up on shower floors and in wet rooms. Honed is the flat, soft sheen you get from grinding without buffing. It looks calmer than a polish and marks less obviously. Being natural stone it is porous, so it wants sealing when it goes down and resealing every few years. Acid is the enemy: lemon, wine and most bathroom cleaners will etch it if they sit. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Have a look at it in Mississauga or Barrie before you order, ideally next to whatever it is going beside.
