Every sheet of real marble mosaic has its own veining, which no printed tile repeats. 2STM001 Carrara White with Black Dots Basketweave is natural marble cut into small pieces on a mesh sheet.

In simple terms: 2STM001 Carrara White with Black Dots Basketweave is a 2x1 marble basketweave mosaic for walls and dry floors.

It is the polished finish in Carrara White with Black Dots, DZN code 2STM001.

Each sheet measures 12" x 12", with 2" x 1" pieces. It is real marble, so the colour and veining move from sheet to sheet, and it needs a penetrating sealer after it is grouted.

It suits backsplashes, shower walls, niches and powder room and vanity floors that stay dry. Pick it over a porcelain look-alike when you want real stone and are happy to seal it.

Each box holds 10 sheets and covers about 10 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 3 boxes, or 4 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

On a floor, keep the polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet. Keep it indoors; marble mosaic is not made for porches, patios or exterior walls. Keep acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon off it, since they etch marble, and the polished face shows it most.
