Centura Porcelain Tiles

Centura lists Chamonix Beige in the Chamonix range: a 12" x 12" porcelain tile. The surface is a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 8.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 961 - Sandstone Beige. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 9.7 sq ft, or 0.97 sq ft a piece.
