Ceratec Rialto Graphite Polished Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Poured terrazzo is ground and sealed on site, and it is hard to fix. Rialto Graphite gives you the terrazzo look in porcelain.

In simple terms: Rialto Graphite is a 24x24 terrazzo look porcelain tile for dry floors and walls.

It is the polished finish in Graphite from the Ceratec Rialto range.

The actual size is 23.6" x 23.6" (600 x 600 mm). It is 10 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. It is full-body porcelain: the colour runs through the tile, so a chip blends in. The spec sheet lists a wet DCOF slip reading below 0.42 and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is made in Italy. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, hallways away from the entry door, kitchen backsplashes and shower and bathroom walls. Pick it over real terrazzo when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 3 pieces and covers 11.61 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft living room floor takes 13 boxes, or 15 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 10 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but we would not put this finish on a patio, steps or a pool deck. On a floor, keep the polished face out of showers and away from entry doors where wet boots come in, because it gets slick when wet.

In this size, Rialto also comes in Silver and Zinc. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.
