Ceratec Retromix Circle BWNS Matte Porcelain Tile 6" x 6"

A patterned floor is the one thing people remember about a room. Retromix Circle BWNS gives you the pattern in porcelain, without the sealing that cement tile needs.

In simple terms: Retromix Circle BWNS is a 6x6 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Circle BWNS from the Ceratec Retromix range.

The actual size is 5.8" x 5.8" (147 x 147 mm). It is 9 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI III surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading above 0.42, an R10 slip rating and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V1, uniform. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in Turkey. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls and covered porches and patios. Pick it when you want the floor to be the feature; in a large room, run a plain tile around a patterned area.

Each box holds 11 pieces and covers 2.57 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 16 boxes, or 18 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 43 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Retromix also comes in Triangle BWM, Circle BWPS, Cube CS and Triangle BWS. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.
