Ceratec Multiforme Decor Euforia Glossy Ceramic Tile 16" x 32"

A backsplash or a shower wall is looked at up close every day, so the colour, the sheen and the grout line count for more than they do on a floor. Multiforme Decor Euforia is made for that wall.

In simple terms: Multiforme Decor Euforia is a 16x32 ceramic tile for walls only, such as backsplashes, feature walls and shower walls.

It is the glossy finish in Decor Euforia from the Ceratec Multiforme range.

The actual size is 15.6" x 31.3" (397 x 795 mm). It is 8.5 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The spec sheet lists water absorption above 10%. Shade variation is V3, moderate. It is made in Italy. Ceramic has a lighter, softer body than porcelain, which makes it easy to cut and set, and it is mostly used on walls.

It suits kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom and shower walls and tub surrounds. Pick it as the feature on a backsplash or a shower wall, and run a plain tile around it.

Each box holds 4 pieces and covers 13.56 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 3 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 9 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for walls only, so do not put it on a floor, including a shower floor. It is listed for indoor use, so keep it off exterior walls.

In this size, Multiforme also comes in colours including Artico, Gesso, Oceano, Polvere and Decor Artico Inciso. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 3/8" trim profile.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Ceratec Multiforme Decor Euforia in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
