Ceratec Fragmenta Bianco Greco Matte Porcelain Tile 24" x 48"

Natural stone needs sealing and every batch looks different. Fragmenta Bianco Greco gives you a stone look in porcelain that stays consistent.

In simple terms: Fragmenta Bianco Greco is a 24x48 stone look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Bianco Greco from the Ceratec Fragmenta range.

The actual size is 23.4" x 47" (600 x 1200 mm). It is 10 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. It is full-body porcelain: the colour runs through the tile, so a chip blends in. The spec sheet lists a wet DCOF slip reading above 0.42, an R10 slip rating and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for heavy commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V3, moderate. It is made in Italy. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over real stone when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 2 pieces and covers 15.28 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Fragmenta also comes in Grigio Luminoso, Botticino Dorato and Nero Ombrato. Bianco Greco also comes in 24" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Ceratec Fragmenta Bianco Greco in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
