Ceratec Confetto Bone Matte Porcelain Tile 2" x 6"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Confetto Bone is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Confetto Bone is a 2x6 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Bone from the Ceratec Confetto range.

The actual size is 1.9" x 5.9" (50 x 150 mm). It is 10 mm thick. The spec sheet lists a wet DCOF slip reading below 0.42, an R9 slip rating and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for residential use. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V1, uniform. It is made in Italy. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, hallways, basements and shower and bathroom walls. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 108 pieces and covers 8.41 sq ft, so a 60 sq ft hallway floor takes 8 boxes, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 14 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. Its wet slip reading is below 0.42, the level most people look for on a wet floor, so keep it off shower floors and wet entries. It is rated for residential use, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Confetto also comes in colours including Avio, Azzurro, Bianco, Blu and Grigio. Bone also comes in 4" x 4". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.
