Ceratec Cassio Grigio Matte Porcelain Tile 13" x 13"

A poured concrete floor cracks, stains and is hard to repair. Cassio Grigio gives you the concrete look in porcelain.

In simple terms: Cassio Grigio is a 13x13 concrete look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Grigio from the Ceratec Cassio range.

The actual size is 13" x 13" (330 x 330 mm). It is 7.5 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI III surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.55, an R9 slip rating and water absorption of 0.3%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in Turkey. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls and covered porches and patios. Pick it over real concrete when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 13 pieces and covers 15.26 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Cassio also comes in Avorio, Bianco and Nero. Grigio also comes in 12" x 24" and 24" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 3/8" trim profile.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Ceratec Cassio Grigio in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
