Ceratec Caliza Grafite Matte Porcelain Tile 12" x 24"

Natural stone needs sealing and every batch looks different. Caliza Grafite gives you a stone look in porcelain that stays consistent.

In simple terms: Caliza Grafite is a 12x24 stone look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Grafite from the Ceratec Caliza range.

The actual size is 11.8" x 23.6" (300 x 600 mm). It is 7.5 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI III surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.66, an R9 slip rating and water absorption of 0.3%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in Turkey. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls and covered porches and patios. Pick it over real stone when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 9 pieces and covers 17.4 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 9 boxes, or 10 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 7 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Caliza also comes in Fossile, Gesso and Sabbia. Grafite also comes in 13" x 13" and 24" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 3/8" trim profile.
